The Impact of LUM in 2024…So Far

LUM Program Stats from January 1 – May 31, 2024

Lafayette Urban Ministry is thrilled to announce that, so far in 2024, we’ve had the incredible privilege of assisting 2,293 unique individuals and local households. 

• 2,293 times – LUM nurtured and educated children, offered housing assistance, fed the hungry, supported the legal immigrant, and helped our neighbors experiencing homelessness become more self-sufficient
• 139 children were enrolled in the LUM enhanced child care program
• 12,290 times – LUM provided a meal or food assistance through the food pantry, shelter, and to-go meal programs
