Surprise Gift to LUM – Brand New Dishwasher

Pete & Barb Siems – Generous Partners

Months ago, Pete Siems stopped in the LUM Office to introduce himself and explain his “ministry.” Since retiring as an engineer, Pete has been re-building and donating computers, laptops and electronics to a few local agencies, which now includes LUM. Pete shared that, “My work with computers is my primary ministry to nonprofits and is my way of using the gifts and skills God has blessed me with.”

Recently, Pete and his wife, Barb, through a variety of unexpected circumstances found themselves in possession of an extra dishwasher. Pete & Barb Siems decided to donate it and called LUM on a whim. As it turns out, LUM needed to replace its dishwasher. Pete was thrilled and attributed it to divine intervention. He & Barb not only donated a brand new dishwasher, but Pete also purchased new hoses, dropped it off and helped install it. If you know him — this would not surprise you at all.
