Jubilee Christmas Volunteer Opportunities

There’s only 76 days until Christmas — so the countdown to Jubilee Christmas has begun. LUM Jubilee Christmas is Saturday, December 13—and there are many opportunities to get involved before then.

Volunteers are needed for the following:

Phone Registration—Monday-Friday, October 20-24 from 4:30-7:30 p.m.; Training on Thursday, October 17 at 5:30 p.m.
Donation Center—accept donations of toys, etc.—Thursday, November 20—Tuesday, December 9 (1 – 5 p.m.) weekdays except Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday; Host pick up day—Thursday, December 11 from 9 a.m.—4 p.m.
After Jubilee Christmas—Monday, December 15 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the IBEW Union Hall

Host sites Pick-Up—Thursday, December 11 (9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
Jubilee Christmas Day—Saturday, December 13 (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; times vary by host)

On Jubilee Christmas Day, parents of 1,800 local children will select new toys and clothing that they will share with their kids on Christmas morning. Each family will also receive a ham, home-baked Christmas cookies, and a food certificate.
