FOOD - Great Harvest Bread - Pick Up

This is great Saturday afternoon volunteer opportunity. Sign up to pick up the Great Harvest Bread Co. food donation (1500 Kossuth St, Lafayette, Indiana). Pick up is third & fifth Saturday of every month at 3 p.m. You will then drop off the donation at LUM.

The donation varies from 30 to 100 loaves of bread. You arrive at the bakery's closing time. You are responsible for taking the bread from the selves, boxing them up, carrying them to your car -- then, bringing them to LUM, and unloading them at LUM. The boxes of bread are heavy; so, volunteers must be able to lift 20+ pounds. It is recommended that you bring a friend/partner to help you. Boxes and bags are supplied by LUM but you may use your own. You must be able to pick up the LUM office key, boxes and bags on the Friday before you pick up.
