LUM Social Justice – 40th Anniversary Party

Celebrating 40 Years of Advocating for Families

Last week at an informal party with cake and other refreshments, LUM friends, board & staff members celebrated the 40th Anniversary of the LUM Social Justice Ministry.

Everyone in attendance was grateful for the impact that LUM has had not only with direct service but also with social justice. Social justice has been at the core of the work at LUM for over 50 years, but 40 years ago LUM hired a social justice director and the program became more formal and intentional.

The highlights of the evening were as follows:

The event was a tribute to the successes and a call to action for the future of the LUM Social Justice Ministry.

If you are not able to attend, consider celebrating the LUM 40th Anniversary by making a donation to LUM and the social justice ministry. To view more 40th Anniversary Party photos, click HERE.
