Patriot Day – Remembering September 11th
LUM Observes Moment of Silence at 8:46 a.m.
Friday, September 11, is Patriot Day in the US — a day to remember the people killed in the attacks of 2001. LUM staff will observe the day with a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m. EST, the time the first plane struck the World Trade Center.
“If we learn nothing else from this tragedy,
— Sandy Dahl, partner of Flight 93 pilot, Jason Dahl, in Shanksville, PA, on September 11, 2002.
We learn that life is short and there is no time for hate.”
Let’s never forget.
