Communications & Marketing Coordinator

LUM is looking for a creative and detail-oriented storyteller to join our team. The Communications & Marketing Coordinator is the primary voice and brand ambassador for LUM. This role is vital in transforming the impact of our programs and fundraising campaigns into compelling digital and print content.
What You’ll Do:
Tell our story: Craft authentic stories, take photos/videos, and manage our social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
Manage digital presence: Update our websites, manage event registration forms, and analyze web analytics to improve engagement.
Drive marketing: Develop targeted email communications, coordinate the LUM newsletter, write press releases, and support marketing for events like Hunger Hike and Turkey Trot.
Support fundraising: Create templates for donor acknowledgments and assist with stewardship materials to ensure our donors feel valued. (Posted August 26, 2026)

LUM Programs happen at the LUM Ray Ewry Center and LUM Office, with trips to various locations. The job therefore requires the ability to move to multiple locations across various terrain many times every day, the ability to see and hear others, the ability to work in extreme weather conditions, the ability to carry objects up to 25 pounds (parcels, packages, supplies, and food), and must maintain a valid driver’s license and have the ability to drive a vehicle.
