LUM Camp 2020 is Here! THIS TUESDAY!
The Best Week of the Year for 53 Campers
LUM Camp kicks off THIS Tuesday for approximately 53 local children. COVID-19 forced LUM to make significant changes this year, but the fun, friendship and life-changing experiences remain the same.
LUM Camp will be filled with traditional “camp” activities. This year LUM will teach children how to be safe and stay healthy during the pandemic, especially in , preparation for what they will deal with when they return to school in the fall.
It’s not too late to sponsor a LUM Camper this year. Donations to LUM Camp are still welcome. Individuals may sponsor a camper for only $150. Would you please invest in both their long-term life skills and their short-term fun by offering them the gift of LUM Camp?
LUM Camp also has a few more spots open for volunteer LUM Camp counselors.
Please note: LUM is working closely with the professional staff at Hanging Rock Christian Camp, the long-time host site of LUM Camp. LUM Camp is being planned in compliance with and exceeding the guidelines developed by the American Camp Association and the YMCA of the USA. All donations to LUM Camp will be used entirely on the campers’ experience this year.
