Award Winning LUM – Outstanding Service to the Community

LUM Receives Award from ΣΛΒ & ΣΛΓ at Purdue

Lafayette Urban Ministry was recently recognized by the Purdue chapters of Sigma Lambda Beta international fraternity and Sigma Lambda Gamma national sorority for “Outstanding Service to the Lafayette Community.”

Joe Micon, LUM executive director, attended the reception to receive the award and is pictured above with representatives from ΣΛΒ & ΣΛΓ along with fellow recipient, Rosa Montoya of Mamá Ines Mexican Bakery. LUM staff are grateful for this recognition and the partnership with the Purdue fraternity and sorority community.
