Meet Pastor Oerter—Central Presbyterian

Recently, Joe Micon, LUM executive director, met the new pastor at Central Presbyterian Church, Lafayette — the Rev. Lucia Oerter. Rev. Oerter is from Indianapolis, and was most recently serving churches in eight states as a trained Transitional Pastor. Rev. Oerter earned a bachelor’s degree from IUPUI and a divinity degree from Christian Theological Seminary, Indianapolis.

Rev. Lucia Oerter is married to John, who is also a pastor; and together they have a blended family of six grown children and eight grandchildren.
