As you may know Matt Painter is competing in the Infinity Coaches’ Charity Challenge — and has made it to the Final Four. If Matt Painter wins — $100,000 will go to the Smith Family BReaK Thru Fund. This fund supports research for Niemann-Pick Type C disease.

The Smith Family is a local family whose kids have attended TSC schools and are parishioners of St. Thomas Aquinas (West Lafayette). Three of the four Smith children were diagnosed with Niemann-Pick disease — and NPC has taken two of their children (Braden & Riley). All of the money will be used for research right here at Purdue University. No money will go to administrative fees — and $100,000 would be a significant boost for this research.
