Thanksgiving Celebration – 800+ Meals Served

For the 31st consecutive year, Lafayette Urban Ministry hosted the Community Thanksgiving Celebration. The event was free, open to the public and included a Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 2 p.m. with special guests, State Representative Sheila Klinker and West Lafayette Mayor John Dennis, and live entertainment from West Lafayette High School and more. More than 800 meals were served, which included 75 turkeys, stuffing, mashed potatoes, rolls and 112 pies. It was a grand celebration for the community.
