Lafayette Mayor Hosts LUM Students
Last week, the students enrolled in the LUM 5th Quarter Summer Learning Program were invited to Lafayette City Hall by the honorable Mayor Tony Roswarski.
Mayor Roswarski shared his story and the many aspects of his job as mayor. He engaged the students who had many interesting questions. Mayor Roswarski finished the visit by inviting the students into his office (photo to right).
It was great experience for the students. Thanks, Mayor! This field trip was one in a series of trips and workshops the students will experience while enrolled in the LUM 5th Quarter program this summer. To see more photos, click HERE.
