LUM Camp—Celebrating the Indiana Bicentennial

IN 200LUM Camp is one of the finest overnight summer camp programs available to children anywhere.

It is the week of August 1 at the beautiful Hanging Rock Camp in Warren County.

There are nearly 100 children who are waiting for the chance to attend.

The 2016 LUM Camp theme is…

On the Banks of the Wabash, Far Away

The theme will focus on the Indiana Bicentennial Celebration 2016. LUM Campers will learn about our state’s rich history, famous personalities, contributions to science, agriculture, sports, and the performing arts. They will leave camp proud of their Hoosier heritage and inspired by the opportunities that await them in the years to come as citizens of our great state.

Over 50 years ago, LUM Camp was started with a simple goal of giving inner-city children a chance to experience a week of camping. Today it is that and much, much more. With your generous help, the magic will happen again this summer. LUM Camp is a scholarship-based camp.

Won’t you consider a gift of $150 to send one child to LUM Camp 2016?

Your campership will pay for a child’s transportation, room and board, camp activities, educational programs and supplies — everything he or she will need to attend this year’s LUM Camp—On the Banks of the Wabash, Far Away.
