University Book Store Donates $1,033

At the beginning of this semester, University Book Store decided to donate a dollar for every book that was rented. They set up a fund for five local nonprofits — including Lafayette Urban Ministry. Purdue students who rented were then asked to select a local nonprofit — and all customers were given an opportunity to donate “loose change.” LUM was thrilled to recently receive a check for $1,033.40.
