LUM Needs Pumpkin Patch VOLUNTEERS

Our Pumpkin Patch partnership with Congress Street UMC includes LUM providing 10 
volunteers (3 hours shifts) to work at the 12th annual Great Pumpkin Patch. If LUM provides 30 or more hours of volunteer work at the pumpkin patch — then LUM will receive a donation from Congress Street United Methodist Church.

The CSUMC Great Pumpkin Patch is open (rain or shine) from 11 a.m.—7 p.m., NOW through Saturday, October 31st (3-hour volunteer shifts are available from 10:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.). The barn is equipped with a portable heater, and there are cookies, hot chocolate and other goodies available.

Need some pumpkins? Please consider visiting the 12th annual Great Pumpkin Patch of the Congress Street United Methodist Church. Each purchase you make supports LUM.
The Great Pumpkin Patch is open NOW and through the entire month of October from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. — rain or shine — across the street from Tropicanoe Cove & Loeb Stadium. In addition to pumpkins, you’ll also find a unique variety of gourds — plus their famous homemade sugar cookies (pictured below), homemade breads, candies, crafts & much more!
Since 2004 Congress Street United Methodist Church has grown in its Great Pumpkin Patch outreach — you must check it out. Remember ALL proceeds from pumpkin sales go to three local non-profit agencies — including Lafayette Urban Ministry.
