The Purdue School of Nursing Student Council & the Nursing Christian Fellowship recently collected health & personal care products for the guests of the LUM Emergency Shelter as a part of their Spring 2015 Service Project.

Samantha Huron, co-president of the Nursing Student Council shared that “as nurses, we appreciate everything the Lafayette Urban Ministry does for the community and this is our way of giving back.”

Gifts like these are important to the operation of the shelter and much needed items for the shelter guests. Thanks to the Purdue nurses for thinking of LUM and our shelter guests. If you or your group wishes to support the LUM Emergency Shelter, click HERE for more information.
